A warm welcome to the web-site of St. Oswald’s, the Town Centre Church of Oswestry, which has been a place of worship for almost years. As a living Christian community we seek to be open, friendly and accessible. The church is open daily for visitors throughout the year. St Oswald's Church, Althorpe. About; Map; Dating from the 15th century, St Oswald's Church was built on the site of an earlier church that had links with the Knights Templar and the prestigious Mowbray Family who owned land across the Isle of Axholme. The church is unsual in that is was built in a single architectural style - the Perpendicular.
